Below are the 7 mistakes to avoid and get the most out of our newsletter
Don’t forget to read it.
Don’t overthink it.
Don’t “underthink” it.
Don’t take it too seriously.
Don’t fail to apply it.
Don’t take it as gospel.
Don’t keep it to yourself.
Let’s talk about each one of them separately
Don't Forget to Read It
The first mistake is not to read it. That’s not doing you any good and that means I’ve wasted my time. Everybody wants solutions, they are oftentimes right in front of us. Here is information designed especially for you. Be sure take the time to read it.
Don't Overthink It
This next mistake is an interesting one. We sometimes think our complicated problems need complicated solutions. That’s not always the case. Sometimes, a few simple changes can make all the difference.
Getting more sleep, eating properly, or exercising regularly are not complicated. But how many problems can you think of that they solve? Sometimes, just following a simple process may be all that is needed for big results.
Don't "Underthink" It
This next mistake sounds like the opposite of the last one, and it is. We don’t want to oversimplify things either. I’m sure you realize that in many ways, life is just like riding a bike. Balance is the key.
Be sure to take the time to carefully consider suggestions given in this week’s newsletter. They have been carefully researched and reviewed. They can make a difference in your life. Don’t underestimate their value.
Don't Take It Too Seriously
As important as The Culpepper Communique is, we don’t want to make the mistake and take it too seriously. We are here to have fun and learn a few things. But it’s not rocket science. Remember the three E’s.
Educate
Entertain
Engage
I like the made-up word “edutainment,” it’s a combination of education and entertainment. Who says you can’t do both? In an earlier post, we referred to the way we learned as children. We got down on our hands and knees or covered our fingers in clay or paint.
And we learned as we played. We’ve lost a lot of that curiosity as we grew up. One goal of The Culpepper Communique is to add a little fun back into learning. Don’t be afraid to engage and have fun.
Don't Fail to Apply It
A fifth mistake to avoid is not applying what we learn. Advice is useless unless it is applied. To know how to do something is only half the battle. If we don’t put into practice what we know, we might as well not know it.
Trust the process. If it’s in the newsletter, someone has tried it and it’s working for them. It can also work for you. Try it.
Don't Take It As Gospel
Balance is needed once again to avoid this sixth mistake. Some have found success using the techniques that will be mentioned in The Culpepper Communique. That does not mean you will. Each person should carefully examine their own circumstances to see if what is suggested will apply in their particular case.
This applies in most endeavors. Those with common sense know that a specific exercise regimen, nutritional supplement, or even a financial tactic is seldom one size fits all. It must be weighed according to our own personal balance.
Don't Keep It To Yourself
The seventh and final mistake is to keep all the good things you may learn to yourself. Our goal with the Culpepper Communique is to assist others. You know people, the average American knows 600 people. Share this with your friends so they might benefit as well.
So, we’ve covered a lot of ground in this post. I hope it will prove helpful to you once you receive your newsletter later in the week. Avoid these seven common mistakes.

Since you made it to end. Here’s your complimentary joke:
I bought a used thesaurus over the weekend. Got home and all the pages were blank. I have no words for how angry I was!
